was a good goal - if he'd put it just over the wall and players hadn't jumped they'd get slated.

Utterly shit goal from our perspective, wall should have not jumped as it did and then Coutino would have looked a Muppet. Ball goes over the wall and the keeper should deal with it, totally avoidable.

I've seen plenty of efforts aimed at blasting through the wall just bounce off, as the players in it don't obligingly jump up to let the ball through.
Do we, in particular, always jump? Did Klopp notice this?

I am not being smug after the event... I was level with where it was being taken and said to my mate, "he'll try to hit it under the wall inside the near post, they shouldn't jump". It was so close to edge of the penalty area that he'd need to have been a genius to get it up and down. I'm surprised this didn't occur to the players.

Judging by Randolph's reaction he'd already told them not to jump.
Ultimately it's a case of fair play to Coutinho for having the balls to do it, but we're in the 5th round so at the same time he can fuck himself.

Decisions should be made and communicated to all whether to jump or not in the wall. From this point of view it was a weak goal to concede as it was such a short distance so the wall should not have jumped.
